Microsoft 365 Suite Installation
Introduction
All students, faculty, and staff are provided free access to download the Microsoft 365 suite on 5 personal devices. You can do this by following these steps:

Installing

Once signed in, click the Office 365 tile. You will be redirected to the Microsoft 365 Copilot home page.

From the Copilot home page, click the Apps button on the left sidebar.

Choose Install apps then Microsoft 365 apps.
Run the installer and follow any instructions provided.
Once installed, log in using your Dalton State account credentials when prompted to register the product under your Dalton State account.
Troubleshooting
If you experience issues accessing your account with the above steps, please try these troubleshooting steps.
- You already have an installation of Office on the PC.
- The installer should remove any previous or outdated versions of Office on the computer. If it does not, you will need to manually remove the application suite.
- You signed in to the applications using a different account than your Dalton State account, such as a Microsoft account.
- You will need to sign out of the other account and register the product with your Dalton State account.
- You have reached the maximum number of available installations for your account.
- You can only install the application suite on up to 5 devices. Please remove the account from other devices to use the account on the new device.
- You are using a Chromebook.
- Chromebooks are not compatible with the Microsoft 365 application suite. You can use the web versions of these applications by accessing them from the Microsoft 365 homepage.
